Sonnet II “Truth and Hope”

“Truth and Hope”

Religion the plague of society

Government acquiescent and confused

Fear of unknown causes anxiety

War is bred as death and destruction oozed

A brainwashed mass knowing not what to do

True leaders lacking opportunity

We are being controlled and censored too

We watch the increasing disunity

What can one do to stop total ruin?

Why are we still staying the course to doom?

People dying, what are the powers doin?

Learn greater, don't let ignorance consume

In research a genuine leader delves

We are stronger than we grant ourselves

Sonnet I "Her"

“Her”

In breeze her hair floats like clouds over earth

She smells of ripe fruit, seductive as meth

Splendent existence glorious life, birth

Her Elegance will never come to death

Glorious beauty unattainable

Magnificent spirit, never to hold

Lacking her presence is destructible

Torturing my mind with its freezing cold

I truly loathe he who may embrace her

I envy those whom may live with her scent

If only to feel her skin, soft as fur

To sense her aroma as it was meant

My life lacking her, never to obtain

To live forever without her, true pain
